The golden number

1989, a series of studies and presentations concerning the Golden number. The measurement of beauty, divine proportions, the golden number, and the golden mean: it hard to resist the enchantment of these words. The golden number (1.618...) has an almost mythical reputation. It exists to establish the proportions between lines, surfaces, volumes, and it is thought to be one of the founding elements of universal grace. It has been used for millennia by artists, sculptors, master-builders, etc.
