The lettrist dailies

1988, presentation of the Lettrist Dailies at the Michel Broomhead Gallery. The new achievements of Alain Satié, based on meca-esthetics, bring back the hypergraphic novel which we live daily without realizing it. The alternatives of format, country, culture, and especially technical diversity escape from any system: each exhibition of pictures communicates, in a new and personalized way, the fragments of a daily topicality, combined, dissolved and obliterated. The twenty-four semiotic novels, untranslatable or at least imperceptible in any current language, like a new heraldry, prefigure an as yet unknown, but imagined universal visual metalanguage.
